Mercedes has finally revealed the SLK 2011. With a more bold and rather muscle look the car has entered the market.
The new designed is inspired by 190SL and comes with choice of three suspension options. The car has a number of options available on its retractable rooftop which include magic sky control, metal or glass. There are two unique driving options which you can choose from,i.e, Sports or Standard. For now they say that the model will be available in three different versions of SLK 200, SLK 250 and SLK 350.
SLK 200 and SLK 250 are equipped with 4 cylinder 1.8l engine. The difference is that SLK 200 goes from 0-100 in 7 seconds with a top speed of 237km/h, whereas SLK 250 goes from 0-100 in 6.6 seconds with top speed of 243km/h. On the other hand SLK 350 is equpped with a 6 cylinder 3.5l engine that goes 0-100 in 5.6seconds and has a top speed of 250km/h. Rumors are still floating in the air saying that its AMG version with a 5.5 liter engine V8 is expected somewhere near 2012. What a beast that would make this roadster.
For now If i had money to afford a mercedes convertable today, i would rather spend few more grands and buy a 3.5litre to experience the real deal of buying a convertable sports.

why , why did they have to abandon the european curves and go to the american muscle that has been around for ages
