PROTON HITS TOP GEAR!!

Proton brand finally hits top gear. This marks a great success for proton. Recently in top gear episode Ashes Special, Messrs Clarkson, May and Hammond (UK top Gear) went against Australians Ewen Page, Shane Jacobson and Steve Pizzati. 
Proton's Satria Neo S200s were provided by MEM (British firm). The firm is running Satrias for FIA Asia pacific rally championship as well as intercontinental rally challenge.  There were five challenges that were drag, drift, racing and sheep herding on motorbikes...[O_o]


In the finale, the cars were featured to run around the Oxfordshire Cornbury Park track. Stig was the usual driver for the British league and Pizzati was driving for the Australians. Stig prevailed as champion once again. Chris Mellor principal Proton motorsport team quoted:
“It was great to work with the team on this, and even better as the UK won! The guys all seemed to really enjoy the cars and it was good to see The Stig behind the wheel of a Satria Neo S2000,” 


Now i think its' time Pakistani market should start thinking that proton is a well labelled brand compared to Suzuki and should be given a competitive resale value as well, because unlike the LIANA premier on Top Gear, this car performed way better.
