Volkswagen Diesel Hybrid Coupe

With a top speed of 100 mph, another two-cylinder car with a 47 hp turbo diesel engine, Volkswagen presents its Diesel Hybrid Coupe.


Volkswagen XL1, as announced by Volkswagen has a fuel economy of 260mpg. The car packs a total of two seats, has a carbon fibre light weight body and is a 7 speed dual clutch transmission (DSG) with a medium sized Li-Ion Battery. The car can travel 22 miles on electric power before it needs to recharge. The car was revealed in qatar where the company claimed:

"the diesel hybrid can travel more than 260 miles on a gallon of UAE tea."
