Rarest of its kind, 1997 McLaren F1 GTR has been put up for sale in Japan for $4,000,000. Out of the 28 produced McLaren F1 GTRs, 10 were produced as Longtail versions. This one of its kind GTR is the last one that was ever built. The twenty eight-th F1 GTR has been fully restored by Mclaren after it was declared as retired from racing. The reason they are referred to as LONGTAIL are because of their stretched designed.
This design came up to make the car more aerodynamic, maximize its down-force allowing greater tyre grips. Although ugly in color, but it is truly a master piece and a classic for anyone who buys it.
